Happy American Thanksgiving :-)

I am very happy to be watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this morning. Last year I wasn't able to but since I am at Shane's parents' house this morning I can. Last night Shane's mom and I started preparing for the Thanksgiving dinner by making some desserts. We made cranberry-pineapple upside down cake (gluten free...mmmm) and a cheesecake.  I will be making the rest of the dinner while everyone else is at work. Then we will have supper before church.

Like Shane said on his blog, this week is our Vision Conference. It started last night and ends Saturday night. He explains it on his blog, so you should go read about it. Dr Forney is preaching/teaching and already it has been great! Shane and his dad are leading music. Here's a picture I took.

Happy Thanksgiving!
P.S. I am 38 weeks!

This is me and my pregnant friends, Christine and Holly. I am not sure how far along Christine is but I know Holly is due in January.
This is the blanket that I made for my baby. My mom helped me make it.Although it is not perfect, I am proud of it.

Home Sweet Home

I am back in Inuvik as of Monday. Shane will be here Friday. I am staying at Shane's parents house. We are going to stay here until we have the baby...which is 3 weeks away...but hopefully less. But we decided not to go back to Aklavik after the baby. We figure it will be better just to settle down. So that is what we are going to do.

I don't really have much else to post...I will get up some pictures soon.

Fall Harvest Party

Here are a few photos from the Harvest Party that we had last Saturday

Like Shane was saying on his blog, baby is not far away. I am 35 weeks now and baby is getting harder and harder to carry around. I would like for baby to wait to come until we are in Inuvik...but once we are there I want him to come as soon as possible! Ha, I wish it were that easy. I have at least one more appointment with the midwife here next week. I will probably also see her a couple days before we go back to Inuvik. So far everything has been right on schedule as far as baby's developement and such. So, we will see how much longer he makes us wait!
