Still Unpacking

Like my title says, we are still unpacking. I might have been a little closer to being done right now but Will got a cold Tuesday a week ago and I got one on Saturday. So, we both have been sorta down. He needs held a lot more and we both need sleep a lot more. Slowly we are coming out of it, though.

I am really enjoying being in town. I am taking walks everyday. There is a little back road that runs behind our house so we walk along that and then come up to the main road that runs by the front of our house. It's about a ten minute walk. We do that once a day and then we sometimes walk to the library or bank or wherever else. Last week we walked to the pool. TBone has really been enjoying the walks. He is really learning how to behave on the leash.

Shane preached Sunday night. It was a good message. Mr Forney, Shane, and Steven are all taking turns preaching. Mr Forney is "taking notes" on how the guys preach and then telling them later maybe what they could have done better. Shane is looking forward to the learning.

Well, I will get back to unpacking now. I love you all and miss you all! Thank you so much for your prayers!

Its Been a Month!!!

I am sooo sorry that it has taken me so long to update. Here are a couple of things that have been going on with us...

We got back from the States safe and sound. The Lord gave us safety all the way. Coming home from Edmonton we had a bit of a delay. We were half way to Norman Wells (from Yellowknife) and something happened on the plane that made the pilot have to turn off one of the engines. So we had to have an emergency landing back in Yellowknife. Everything turned out to be fine but we couldn't get another flight out of Yellowknife until the following morning. So the airline paid for our hotel, transportation, and food while we stayed in Yellowknife. We also were able to go to the church there which was a huge blessing. We were so glad to see Pastor and Mrs Seimens along with all the other wonderful church family there.

Our visit in PA was wonderful! I was so glad to see all my family and friends again! I was so thankful that I was able to sing at my old church with my sisters, mom, and Summer. That was so much fun. Thanks to everyone who took time out of their schedule to come see us and spend time with us. We really enjoyed all of your company.

Now we are back in Inuvik and settling into our new home. We have maybe 1/3 of boxes unpacked. It will be a little while until we are fully settled in. I will post pictures once we are. We live directly behind the church now so our walk to church is about 10 seconds. It is so nice. The junior church will be in our living room and the nursery will be where it has always been in one of the rooms in our house. We are so thankful that the church is allowing us to stay in this house. Can't wait until it is all set up!

Well, have a great night!

p.s. we have skype now!
