Great Visit

Well, my parents are home now. We had such a great time together! Here are a few photos from our visit:
William enjoyed lots of Mommom time

My parents took TBone for a walk (you can tell TBone is excited...he is in the air!)

You can't visit the Arctic in the winter without going on the ice road

Here are a couple pictures of my William. You can see how big he is getting. We sent out the application for his Canadian passport this week and also got his SIN#. All we have to do now is get his American passport which will prove his American citizenship. It will be so much easier than I had imagined and I am just praising the Lord for that.

Oh, and just an update, my permanent residency application has been accepted. We got a letter confirming that last week Now we are waiting for the immigration office in Edmonton, Alberta to contact us. We are hoping they will tell us when to cross the border which will be the final step in the process. We are soooo excited to be so near to the end of this part of my immigration. God has been so good all along.

4 More Days!

I am excited! My parents will be here Saturday! It's just about all I can think about lately. I can't wait!!!

This morning I woke up with a head cold. I guess it's been trying to get me for a few days but it finally caught up with me this morning. My head is just pounding. Baby has been putting up with me pretty well. He doesn't mind napping with me. I just let him sleep in bed with me so that I didn't have to get up to get him in the night and this afternoon for his nap.

Yesterday Shane and I spent the morning getting stuff ready for the Valentine's Day Banquet that we are heading up. It is on Saturday night. We have some games ready and Shane will be giving a challenge from the Bible. Shane invited some unsaved friends of ours and we are encouraging the church to do the same. We are praying for a good night.

Well, I can't think of anything else to post about except for that I had a dream about Julia the other night. I was trapped in the snow but she wanted to take my picture before helping me out. Weird.

New Parents

What a good looking family! Notice William's shoes? They are called mukluks. One of the ladies at church made them for him.

These are our friends, Steven and Holly, with their new little girl, Eve. She is only 4 weeks younger than William.
