Pay It Forward

1. I will make a little something of the first 3 people who comment on this post. It will be a surprise and it will arrive when you least expect it.

2. I will have 365 days to do it in. What's the catch? To get a handmade present from me, you have to play too! This means YOU pledge to send a little handmade something for 3 readers of your blog. It doesn't have to be quilty - just handmade!

3. You must have a blog.

4. Once you comment here, you must post about your Pay It Forward on your blog to keep the fun going - with the Pay It Forward badge.

6 Weeks Old!

I was going to post a few more pictures but then my camera battery died. So, you will have to wait for those photos. In the meantime, enjoy this silly picture.
He was 6 weeks yesterday. He has gotten so big. He is over 9 pounds now! He smiles at me more and more now.
He was in the nursery at church for the first time yesterday. He did really well. His cousin, Tyra, was in there, too, and she made sure everyone knew he was HER cousin.

Temperatures have been pretty low these past few days. It even hit -40 one day. Our sewage tank froze up and Shane spent all morning trying to thaw it out. It sure is cold...but at least the sun is back. It is so nice to have it back!

Well, have a good day!

Surprise Baby Shower

Shane's mom and sisters threw me a surprise baby shower last Saturday...and I was very surprised. Even Shane was able to keep the secret from me!

They did such a good job on the party. I loved it and had so much fun. Seemed just about all my friends were there. Shane's mom even made a chocolate gluten free cake with cream cheese icing. It looked pretty and tasted really good, too. Everything was so nice.

Also last weekend we moved back into our house. It is nice to be back home. I have been pretty busy unpacking and organizing. There is still a lot to do, just not enough time to do it! William is doing well. He slept really well last night which makes for a happy mommy. He is getting so big! He has a 6-9 month sleeper that he wore last night and his feet reach the foot and just about fit into it. He is going to be tall!

Last night we had RU. We just recently changed the format of the program. Instead of just listening to the testimonies of the church in the states (through the internet) we are now giving our own testimonies, having a short time of food and fellowship, then listen to the preaching from the church in the states. But soon Shane and Pastor will be the ones preaching. It's a small group that comes out but it is a real blessing every week. I am really enjoying it.

Baby's First New Year

He really hates getting into his snow suit and being put in the car seat. But...it makes him look really cute.

William and his daddy in matching hats.

We had a nice New Year. We went to church for a New Year's Eve service and then slept in on New Year's Day :-) I was glad that I was able to talk to my parents on Saturday. I can't wait until they come up here in 5 weeks. It will be so much fun to have them here. There isn't a lot to do in the winter, but taking them on the ice road will be fun and hopefully they will see the Northern Lights.

Anyway...Happy New Year everyone!!
