Lady Bug Release

Yesterday Will and I went to the community greenhouse. They were having a kids day and releasing a bunch of lady bugs into the gardens there. Will enjoyed watching all of the other kids run around and of course watching the lady bugs. Here are a couple pictures of that:

I am thankful that this week is Shane's last week working evenings. He has been working evenings since May. He decided to stop so that he can work with Mr Forney more. He wasn't getting much of a chance to train Shane since Shane was always working.

I have had a good week this past week. I am so thankful for my husband and all that he does for me. He is such a great help and blessing. I don't know what I would do with out him!!!

Not much new this week...just staying busy with day to day things. I am looking forward to next week's ladies' meeting. We will be going over Psalm 39. It has been such a blessing to me as I study it and read it over and over again. Each time the Lord teaches me something. I suggest you read it and really learn what it means. I have memorized it a year or so ago but never really understood it that well. It is even a greater Psalm now that I know what it means!

Have a great rest of the week!!

Monday Again!

Well, there is not much new to update on so I will post a few pictures of William for you all. We try to stay pretty busy. We get out to the library once or twice a week and we get to the pool once a week. We take a lot of walks, too. I am so thankful for my little buddy <3

Good Afternoon!

Today is such a nice day! Will and I got up around 7:45 this morning. I really want our days starting early from now on. So we got up and he played for a while then had breakfast then we had devotions then he went down for his nap. I LOVE mornings that go so well! He took a great nap then we went for a walk with TBone. Only 2 dogs started coming toward us but thankfully neither came all the way up to us. There are soo many dogs that aren't on leashes around our house! So anyway we came back and had lunch with Shane then we went out to see my friend, Tammy.

Tammy runs the Healthy Babies program that I go to a couple times a week. She asked me to come sew her dress for her (my first alteration!). I did it and it looks really nice. Anyway, Tammy is unsaved and seems to be very interested in my church and what I believe. She says every week how she wants to come to church but never does. So Shane told me I should bring her some literature (why didn't I think of that??) Tammy LOVES to read so I knew she would really appreciate it. I gave her 3 things. 1) an RU tract. It talks about what we do at RU (our Friday night program) and also gives the plan of salvation. 2) a pamphlet Mr Forney wrote on Biblical separation and why our church doesn't join the other churches in the community. 3) another pamphlet Mr Forney wrote on salvation. It is basically the written version of a message he preached on salvation. You should have seen the look on her face when I handed her those three things! She was so excited and so appreciative! It made me so happy!

And to think...how many more people are just waiting for us to hand them a tract or something to tell them who our Lord is. We get scared sometimes but if we would just obey God and spread His Word we would get such a blessing!!!

Please pray for Tammy. She is very soft and I believe she is searching. Pray that she will be saved!

Happy July 4th!

Well, it is cold again. It feels like it is fall already! We have a warm day here and there but mostly it has been pretty cold. Oh well.

Not much new has been going on around here. Will and I both still have our colds. Shane had it for like 3 days but I think his is gone already. William now knows how to wave goodbye and also he says dada and mama (but the mama isn't near as clear as dada). He is really growing and learning. He makes me laugh everyday. He is a great little buddy! Here are a few photos from the past few days.

Canada Day
     July 4th

It's funny that he celebrates being American 3 days after he celebrates being Canadian.
